This is further reference to our message to the community dated 24 March 2020 to limit consular services due to COVID-19 situation.
Having taken several criteria into consideration and the rapid growth of COVID-19 in Japan and especially in Tokyo, the Embassy has decided to further reduce its consular services to daily visitors.
Therefore, access to the Embassy premises is closed until further notice. However, in order to facilitate your consular service requests, please contact the Embassy through 03-3440-6911 / 6912 or forward your request by e-mail/post.
In addition, this Mission has introduced a new system to accept online consular service inquiries. The information will follow.
